Worming through the boredom - 28 days to go

Victorians may remember the last time they experienced a long election campaign. 1992, the ALP under Joan Kirner was suffering under the Pyramid Building Society Collapse, selling the State Bank and other issues. A long campaign was called in the vain hope it might somehow save the ALP.

It didn't work...and it won't work for John Howard now.

And how could John Howard disown the worm - has he disowned part of his own family? (Meoooooooooooooooooooooooow!)

As much as i wan't howard gone, the reality is he will get in again.

Already the polls are getting closer and no electorate has ever voted out a government when the economy is going gang busters!

Another three years of this government, GOD HELP US!!!

The last time I predicted an election was result was in Tampa time, 2001...I am still wiping egg off my face.

I might predict the result at 7 PM on the 24th - after the polls close!

The tricky part is so many people make up their mind at the last minute...up to 40% in the last week and a large chunk of that 40% on the day...and often for very strange reasons.

All join cyber-hands and repeat together "a better Australia, a better Australia..."

Well they are stupid, but then again...

Today 's yahoo poll

Did the first half of the election campaign change your views?

Moved towards Labor 21% 1092 votes
Moved towards Coalition 14% 757 votes
Moved towards another party 3% 145 votes
No change 62% 3312 votes

That's pretty solid

Keep praying or something
